Luigi and The Giant Waveform is a creative project formed in Sydney, Australia. Three musicians came together as complete strangers with the intention of creating something vaguely related to ‘electronic music’. But, they wanted to stray from the world of sequencers and quantization and instead focus on creating inspired music that requires human hands, focus, and a true sense of feeling.

The two recordings of 9.2 and 9.3 come from jam sessions that were entirely improvised and totally spontaneous. Nothing was planned or prepared beforehand. They are the culmination of many months of practice, many jam sessions (some better than others), and an attempt to learn to read one another and converse through sounds instead of words. Another shorter recording, A1, represents a more precise production that now had the benefit of working within a fully equipped studio.
